World Peace Day
Today is World Peace Day. It is a day that has held tremendous importance for me since I was an adolescent. I have always been drawn to peace as a concept and to people who believe peace was their purpose. I have also wondered why it was so difficult to achieve and wars continued so ceaselessly.
The difficulty came because I was looking in the wrong place. Now it’s obvious that peace is an inside job, not an external strategy. Cultivating peace is the next level deeper of self-care. So, take this assignment today to exercise self-care with a specific intention to magnify your peaceful essence. It is not difficult in fact it is terrifically enjoyable!
